Forecast was for a lousy F3 but was bored so went anyway. Decided to just take 1 board (biggest) and 1 sail (biggest) as I thought it was going to be lame. Got there and it was a solid F4 with sustained periods of F5. Ouch ... Was obviously powered right up the whole time - don't think I dropped off the plane once ;-)

Sunny, solid wind (no lulls at all) and nicely tweaked kit. Had a ball. Was always in control as I steamrollered anyone in my way. Wind picked up even more and was knackered after 2 hours so called it a day. There were people out on waveboards with 6.2's at the end so me any by 9m looked a bit out of place.

Best session for a long time and totally out of the blue.
